I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone for today's Travel Photo Wednesday. Yes, the photo below is of cheesesteaks from Pat's and Geno's in Philadelphia (a photo we took on a road trip from Florida to Maine) - both of which are delicious - although I'm partial to Pat's and Ryan likes Geno's. But, while going through our travel photos, I noticed something about this photo ... something that I never noticed before.
Who snuck into the bottom left corner of this photo? Can you see it?
That's right! It's none other than NSYNC's Joey Fatone! - who coincidentally is in this week's made-for-TV SyFy movie, Jersey Shore Shark Attack (a movie that I'm very much looking forward to, by the way) - June 9th, 9PM EST, SyFy!
Something you must understand about us, and about me (Lin) in particular, is that I'm a sucker for natural disaster movies (Twister, 2012, Deep Impact, etc) - especially made-for-TV natural disaster movies (Atomic Twister, Aftershock, oh and that Brittany Murphy movie where she's supposed to be some government scientist/expert.....Megafault!) They're cheesy, the CGI is horrible, the acting is terrible, the plots are even worse...perfection! Oh, and doesn't it seem like they always star one of the Baldwin brothers or Randy Quaid?
Much like my other loves, zombie and epidemic movies, a place in my heart has started for ridiculous SyFy monster movies (Sharktopus, Piranhaconda, and, although it wasn't a SyFy movie, 2-Headed Shark Attack). Enter Jersey Shore Shark Attack - the trailer is spot on and I'm sure it won't disappoint.
So, I hope you've seen some of the movies listed above OR that you sit down and watch at least one of them. I think they'll remind you not to take life too seriously. And, don't forget to tune in on June 9th - since from the trailer, it looks like Joey Fatone is going to get eaten by a huge shark!
